Millennials are known as the "Anxiety generation"

I didn't know about this, but I heard recently that millennials are considered the "Anxiety Generation", and I can see why. As a millennial myself, I see this all over the place. From financial struggles, to ever growing internet landscape, and so on. We got stuck with what Gen X and Baby Boomers did, and now we're living in a society that doesn't fully work for us, especially with the cost of living and how much pay is these days. Cost of living is worse now than it ever was.

Do you think Millennials have it worse? Or will the generations after us have it even worse than us?

Yeah I’ve heard that a lot of times and now it makes sense to me. Everything’s expensive, jobs are shaky, and social media just adds to the stress. I don’t think it’s gonna get easier for Gen Z either, maybe even worse.

Yes, I believe so. I am a millennial, and I am experiencing hardships because of the mentality of baby boomers. Many millennials are experiencing the same thing as well. My parents are close-minded on so many things. They also do not acknowledge mental health issues, maybe because they grew up not knowing such a thing before.

That’s true, millennials are often called the “Anxiety generation.” Economic uncertainty, social media pressures, and constant connectivity contribute to heightened stress and worry. Many face challenges balancing work, finances, and personal life, which can intensify feelings of anxiety compared to previous generations.
