Are you a people-pleaser?

Since my parents are baby boomers, they do not know the concept of respecting boundaries, mental health issues, and so on. I am not sure if other baby boomers are like this, too. However, I grew up as someone who is a people-pleaser. I did not know how to say "no." However, when I decided to live on my own, I learned how to set boundaries. I also realized that being a people-pleaser is not healthy. As a millennial, are you a people-pleaser?

No, I’m not a people‑pleaser. I try to be helpful and respectful, but I don’t shape my responses just to please others. I focus more on being honest, balanced, and useful, even if that means not always agreeing.

I use to be but not so much anymore.

There have been some experiences that have taught me to say "no" in certain instances or say "no" to certain people who will keep using you over and over and over again.
