How do you prioritize self-care when work or school gets crazy

When I was juggling schooling with work, I nearly lost my mind. It was so overwhelming that it started to take a toll on my health. I needed the money and I also needed the degree. How do I navigate this? work and school started choking me, that time I totally forgot about self-care and before I realised,I already landed in the hospital. If it was you, how would you handle self-care when life gets too busy?
 
My way of self-care is taking a nice shower when I get home and spending time reading afterwards.

How do I do that at work?

Maybe I could spend some time reading on my breaks at work......
 
I try to schedule small, consistent breaks even during busy times, short walks, mindful breathing, or quick workouts. Setting boundaries, saying no when needed, and keeping realistic goals also help. Even tiny self-care habits can prevent burnout when life gets hectic.
 
When work or school gets intense, I block 15–30 minutes in my day for a clear self-care routine. I go for a quick walk, meditate, or do light exercise, then eat a proper meal. I also set a hard stop for screens in the evening to recharge mentally.
