Sexual minorities experience online harassment that attacks identity, appearance, and relationships. This can cause depression, anxiety, or withdrawal from digital spaces. How can bystanders intervene safely? Are current reporting mechanisms effective for marginalized users?

I see cyberbullying as a persistent threat for sexual minorities because online spaces often amplify stigma, anonymity, and harassment. Bias, prejudice, and targeted hate make LGBTQ+ individuals frequent targets, while limited support or reporting mechanisms can allow abuse to continue unchecked.
