For those who do not know what Doomscrolling is, it's where someone is addicted to looking up negative news or content online, which can often lead to increased anxiety and stress. I know some people who are constantly into politics, but mostly focusing on just everything bad, and always looking for the bad. Do you know anyone who does this? Why do people do this sort of thing though?

Doomscrolling can be really draining. Constantly consuming negative news often increases anxiety and stress without offering solutions. It’s better to limit exposure, take breaks, and focus on actionable or positive content to protect your mental well-being.

I think constantly reading negative news or posts keeps your brain on high alert and can increase anxiety, stress, or hopelessness. It’s easy to get caught in the loop. The main problem is once you watch negative content, it start getting more into your feed.
