There are some jobs that are so mentally demanding that someone always carries the mental hangover even after closing from work.

Which kinds of jobs do you think always has mental hangovers that are person needs to intentionally switch away from? Does your job have mental hangovers? How do you switch from it?

Jobs with high emotional load or constant decision-making often cause mental hangovers. This includes healthcare, customer support, teaching, emergency services, trading, and creative work under deadlines. Any role involving stress, conflict, or rapid problem-solving can leave lingering fatigue even after work hours end.

Jobs involving constant emotional pressure, conflict, or intense decision-making often create mental hangovers, like healthcare, teaching, emergency response, or high-stakes management. I do not experience mental fatigue, but people usually recover by intentionally disconnecting through exercise, hobbies, quiet routines, or shifting attention completely away.
