Why Is Waiting So Hard?

Whether it's waiting for a package, results, or good news, patience can be difficult. Why do you think waiting feels more frustrating today than it did in the past?

I think waiting is hard because we naturally want certainty and quick results. When we don't know what's going to happen or how long it will take, our minds fill the gap with impatience and worry. Having something else to focus on usually makes the wait feel much shorter.

I think we've become used to getting things instantly, so waiting now feels unusual. Technology has made so many things immediate that delays stand out more than they used to. Expectations have changed, and that often makes even short waits feel longer and more frustrating.
