Some people become quieter, more reactive, or overly detailed depending on emotional state. This can affect how others interpret them. How does your communication change during stress? What helps you express yourself more clearly?

Mental health can affect the way people communicate in many ways. Stress, anxiety, or depression may make someone quieter, more sensitive, distracted, or less able to express what they feel. Some people may overthink their words, avoid conversations, or struggle to explain their needs clearly. When mental health improves, communication often becomes easier and more natural.

I think stress can make people quieter, more irritable, or make them overthink every word. I've found it helps to slow down before responding, keep messages simple, and ask for clarification when needed. Taking a short break before important conversations can also make communication much clearer.
