Public discussions often focus on the most visible symptoms while overlooking many everyday challenges that affect quality of life. Which symptoms do you think deserve more attention? How has misunderstanding affected your experience?

I wish more people understood that serious mental illness often affects much more than mood. Symptoms can include difficulty concentrating, memory problems, disrupted sleep, low motivation, emotional numbness, and trouble completing everyday tasks. Many struggles are invisible, making compassion and understanding especially important.

I think the less visible symptoms deserve more attention, especially cognitive difficulties, low motivation, emotional numbness, and fatigue. People often assume I'm lazy or uninterested when I'm actually struggling. Those misunderstandings have been more painful than the symptoms themselves because they make it harder to ask for support.

I also think the less visible symptoms deserve much more attention. Things like mental fatigue, difficulty concentrating, emotional numbness, irritability, and losing motivation can affect daily life just as much as the more obvious symptoms. They're often misunderstood because people assume someone looks "fine" on the outside. Better awareness can help people feel less judged and more comfortable asking for support when they need it.
