Not all symptoms have visible signs, which can make it difficult to communicate internal struggles to friends, family, or coworkers. How do you describe your difficult days? What kind of responses help you feel understood?

Bad days are hard to explain because the feelings are often vague, layered, or don't have a single clear cause. Others may expect a specific reason, while the experience is a mix of stress, exhaustion, emotions, and small frustrations that are difficult to put into words.

On difficult days, I usually explain that I'm mentally drained rather than physically tired. It's hard to describe because nothing looks wrong from the outside. What helps most is when people listen without judgment, avoid making assumptions, and simply ask how they can support me.

It's very hard to tell someone that you had a bad day this is not presidented its seems as if you want to disgrace yourself and start something else so it's important you tell someone that you have tried today even the day wasn't that good enough

I think difficult days are often hard to explain because the struggle isn't always visible. Rather than saying "I'm fine," it can help to be honest and say you're having a tough day or feeling mentally drained. The most helpful responses are usually patience, empathy, and people listening without immediately trying to fix everything.
