Families can be a source of support, but sometimes they perpetuate stigma around mental health, making it hard to open up about struggles. Have you faced judgment or misunderstanding from family members about your mental health? How do you handle it, and what steps have you taken to foster understanding?

Facing mental health stigma in my family was tough, they saw it as weakness. I opened up slowly, shared articles, and even brought them to therapy sessions. Over time, they began to understand. It’s not easy, but patience and honesty can shift mindsets.

Well, in many cases, you never receive the support you need from your family members. Under such kind of conditions, it can be very hard to deal with problems yourself. I am suffering from severe depression another types of mental illnesses and I have to deal with it without any support from family members.
