Balancing personal wellbeing with responsibilities often requires constant adjustment and self-awareness. What boundaries or habits help you protect your mental health? How do you respond when expectations become too heavy?

Protecting mental health while managing expectations means setting realistic limits, prioritizing rest, and not overcommitting. It also involves recognizing your capacity on difficult days, asking for support when needed, and letting go of perfection so pressure doesn’t build unnecessarily over time.

After discovering Stoicism, my life has changed a lot. It made me understand universal truths about our life, about how people function in society, what is important and what is not. I want to make sure you understand I am not following modern Stoicism which is twisting the core principles, it seems everyone is a Stoic today... Stoicism states that the only true good in life is a virtue (being a good person) by following 4 cardinal virtues: Wisdom, Courage, Temperance and Justice. You can read more about it online. :3

I try to set limits on my time and energy instead of saying yes to everything. When expectations become too heavy, I focus on what truly matters and let less important things wait. Constant pressure isn't sustainable, even when responsibilities are important.
