Is Detachment Possible For Mental Health

The Buddha taught non-attachment as the path to freedom. Detachment is said to create harmony in mental, physical as well as emotional health. But in everyday life, is detachment truly possible, or does it conflict with love, ambition, and human connection?
 
Detachment doesn’t mean avoiding love, ambition, or connection, it means not clinging to outcomes or possessions. In everyday life, complete detachment is challenging, but practicing it in small ways can reduce stress and emotional suffering. It allows you to engage fully while maintaining balance and inner peace.
 
Detachment is actually possible if you become self aware and take or role of observer instead of participants. You will have to practice mindfulness to become detached.
