There's a new trend that has been blowing up on Tiktok as of late, it's called the Flip the Camera trend and it's when a group or people requests a video be taken, and then one person goes over to the person holding the phone and flips the camera on them instead. I haven't watched too many of the videos, but it's clear bullying at this point.

The majority of videos I saw, looked like clear bullying to me. Because once the camera is flipped, they start to act up on the victim. Just seems wrong to me.

What do you guys think about this? Could this cause problems with ones mental health? I imagine it could considering I think it falls in the line of bullying. Discuss your thoughts.

It definitely sounds like a form of digital bullying. Even if some people treat it as a “prank,” being unexpectedly targeted on camera, especially when others are watching, can cause embarrassment, anxiety, and stress. Repeated exposure could lower self-esteem or trigger social anxiety. Social media trends like this can normalize mean behavior if not called out.
