Parents who bully their children

I've known parents who have bullied their own kids. Some of course abused their children, but I knew some parents who were just outright bullies towards thier own kids. How so you think that affects a child having to deal with a parent's bullying along with possible bullying from kids at school?

I imagine kids who deal with this, feel stuck because if they can't talk to their parents about what they're experiencing in school, they may never overcome the bullying.

Anyway, if you have a parent who has bullied you, how did you react? Did that parent get in trouble for doing it? Have you since forgiven your parents for bullying you? Of course that's if it happened to you.

I haven’t experienced it personally, but I’ve seen it happen around me. Some parents confuse strict discipline with bullying, using harsh words or excessive control that harms a child’s confidence and emotional well-being. Recognizing the difference , guidance versus intimidation, is very much required to raise healthy, resilient children without fear.
