Struggling to Sleep Because of Money Worries? You’re Not Alone

I just came across a survey showing 70 percent of Gen Z struggle to sleep due to financial stress. Bills, student loans, and rising living costs seem to be taking a real toll.

if you belong to this generation, how do you cope when money worries keep you up at night? Any tips or experiences to share?

Of course. If you're broke and having issues because of it, it's not easy to get comfortable. I get anxiety whenever I go to bed, but especially more so when I wake up in the morning, because I don't want to get up just yet, and my stress and fears start to buildup again when I wake up. Oh I have to get up and work, or I have to get up and worry about not having enough work to pay the bills.

The younger generations are going to have a hard time finding a place in society when the cost of living keeps rising. I'm scared for our futures.

Financial stress can seriously disrupt sleep. Bills, loans, or rising living costs weigh on the mind, making it hard to relax. Strategies like budgeting, setting aside “worry time,” and mindfulness before bed can help. Talking about money anxieties with supportive friends or forums also eases mental load.
