Women juggling careers and families often suppress exhaustion until it turns into depression or anxiety. Why is “doing it all” still glorified, and how can we create fairer emotional expectations in families?

Working mothers often face a silent burnout that goes unnoticed. Balancing career, household responsibilities, and family needs creates constant pressure, leaving little time for self-care. Fatigue, stress, and emotional strain build gradually, and because it’s often invisible, support systems may overlook it until it becomes severe.
