Functioning well may include relationships, purpose, and daily stability, not just reduced symptoms. Personal definitions of wellbeing can vary widely. How do you define functioning well in your life? What areas matter most beyond managing symptoms?

For me, functioning well means having a sense of balance in daily life, not just the absence of problems. Things like maintaining healthy relationships, having a sense of purpose, and being able to handle everyday responsibilities matter a lot. Feeling emotionally stable, having time for interests or creativity, and staying connected with people who matter also play a big role. It’s more about overall quality of life than simply managing symptoms.
