Financial stress, family expectations, and resource gaps increase vulnerability. Why does socioeconomic status influence mental health, and what interventions can reduce disparities?

Poor finances is one of the main causes of stress today, for all sorts of people, including students. Today education is very expensive. A lot of students do not have an income or an income that does not meet their expenses related to living cost and college fees, so they are always stressed out.

I’m not an expert on this, but it seems pretty understandable. Low-income students often have extra pressures like worrying about money, supporting family, or balancing school with work. That constant stress can build anxiety.
