Too much time alone can feel isolating, while too much social interaction can leave you exhausted. How much alone time do you actually need to feel mentally balanced?

I think the key is making time for both instead of treating alone time as something you only get when everything else is done. I enjoy spending time with people I care about, but having some quiet time to recharge helps me be more present in those relationships.

For me, even a little quiet time each day makes a difference. It doesn't have to be hours. Just enough time to unwind, think, or do something on my own helps me recharge. Without that balance, too much social interaction can start to feel overwhelming.

I usually need a little quiet time every day, even if it's just half an hour. It helps me recharge and clear my head, so I'm much more present when I'm around other people later.

I also need some alone time every day, even if it's only 30 minutes to an hour. It helps me recharge so I can be more present in my relationships instead of feeling emotionally stretched. Spending time apart doesn't weaken a healthy relationship. Sometimes it makes the time together feel more meaningful.

It is also necessary that those around you understand that you need to have some time alone. That is the only way that you can be able to have a better relationship with them. If they keep demanding for your time every time, then problem will arise.
