Borderline Intellectual Functioning is a term used for those who have bellow average IQ. Children in this group typically are considered slow learners, and they may struggle to grasp the subjects they're learning. They often might be placed in resource classes to help them understand the curriculum a bit better. Though I've never tested my IQ, I did struggle to understand things in math classes when I was growing up and was placed in resource classes in middle school. Did you ever deal with this growing up? Individuals typically don't finish school because of it, some do manage to graduate and they function well in society.
