Anxiety and panic attacks can be very difficult to manage for most people especially if there are many things which trigger them. Being able to remain calm in that moment of peaked adrenaline rush is almost impossible without pills for many.

It's said that breathwork techniques can actually help in such situations but I haven't really tired it out.

Do you think breathwork techniques helps to effective calm and manage panic attacks naturally?

I don’t get full panic attacks, but sometimes I panic in difficult situations, and I’ve found that slow, deep breathing really helps. Focusing on my breath calms my heart rate and clears my head, making it easier to think and regain control naturally.

I think breathwork can help. Techniques like slow, deep breathing or box breathing activate the body’s relaxation response, reduce heart rate, and shift focus away from racing thoughts. While it may not replace therapy or medication, it’s an effective, natural tool for managing panic.

I believe I have been able to alleviate anxiety through deep breathing. There have been times when I felt my chest tightening or my head felt fuzzy, and deep breathing helped me relax and calm my nerves.
