Can Meditation Replace Traditional Therapy for Stress?

Meditation is widely recommended for anxiety and emotional balance, but can it truly substitute clinical treatment, or should it remain a supportive practice alongside therapy? What has your experience been with meditation as part of mental wellness?

For some people I think it can help replace traditional therapy, but I don't think it'll be a replacement for everyone. Some may need other routines to get by and I imagine some people don't us or do meditation right. But for those that it does work for, it could be a big part of ones therapy.

I don’t think meditation can fully replace therapy. It’s great for calming the mind, improving focus, and managing everyday stress, but professional therapy provides guidance, coping strategies, and deeper support for underlying issues that meditation alone can’t address.

If it is only stress and no other mental health conditions like clinical depression or anxiety, meditation can actually replace traditional therapy for stress. In fact meditation is the best way for stress management. If stress is causing other mental health issues, you might have to seek more modern methods.
