Some people turn to prayer, meditation, or rituals after heartbreak or trauma. Do you think spiritual approaches help long-term healing, or do they just offer temporary comfort?

I don't know how it works for other people but as a Christian that I am, prayer really helps me to relieve from the pains of emotional wounds. Firstly, it helps me to pour out my heart which in itself is therapeutic for emotional wounds. Secondly, when I pray, I get some assurance that the issue that causes the emotional wounds would be solved by God who has the power to solve everything.

Spiritual practices like meditation, prayer, or mindful reflection can help people process emotions, gain perspective, and find inner calm. While they may not replace therapy or medical treatment, they often complement healing by fostering self-awareness and emotional resilience.

I truly believe that spiritual practices can heal emotional wounds. When you are spiritual, you will find hope, when you have hope in life you are strong enough to cope everything.

I think spiritual approaches can help long-term if they are consistent and meaningful. Prayer or meditation can give perspective, a sense of peace, and coping routines. Sometimes it’s just temporary comfort, but over time it can also build resilience and help people process emotions better.
