I don't know what it's like to have schizophrenia, but I hear some people who have it hear voices and may even see things. But are there some people who hear and see bad things while others may see and hear good things? Or could it be a mix of good and bad? I'm just curious if having Schizophrenia is always scary, or if there are ever times where it's actually not that scary at all?

Experiences with schizophrenia vary widely. Some people struggle with severe symptoms like hallucinations, delusions, and social isolation, while others manage well with treatment, maintain careers, relationships, and even find moments of clarity, creativity, or insight. Individual support and therapy greatly influence outcomes.

From what I’ve read, experiences with schizophrenia can be very different to different people. Some people do hear or see frightening or upsetting things, but others might have neutral or even positive hallucinations. Some voices or visions can feel comforting or familiar. While it can be distressing, it’s not always “scary,” especially when people are supported with treatment and coping strategies.
