Sure we know that it's normal for you to get anxious before an important meeting at work, but do you find yourself constantly getting nervous every time your managers tell you that you're going to have a group meeting? What about when your manager need to talk to you about your performance monthly, even though it's part of a routine do you find yourself getting anxious each time? Or do you go into these meetings with your head held high and it doesn't phase you? I have social anxiety so I typically get anxious whenever we have group meetings, even though we've been doing this for a while at my job. Even when I have my one on ones at work I tend to get a bit anxious, even if I typically have a positive outcome.

Yes I get anxious before a meeting at work sometimes. I start overthinking what I will say and how others will react. I calm down by preparing a few points and reminding myself it does not need to be perfect.

In the past, when I had a regular job I used to be very anxious before the meeting, even when I was well prepared for the meeting. These days most of my meetings are virtual, I rarely use video conferencing. I mostly attend chat based meeting, and I find it easy. Never felt anxiety for virtual meetings.
