Ever since I started suffering really badly with anxiety and also other health issues I suffer with, I have found that I much prefer it if when I go out I have say my daughter, my eldest son, or even my Mum with me just incase my anxiety gets too much or I run into any other issues whilst I am out.

Do you find that having someone with you when you are out and about helps you when it comes to anxiety?

I definitely notice a difference when I’m with someone I trust. Having a companion makes situations feel safer, eases racing thoughts, and provides comfort if anxiety spikes. Even just knowing support is nearby gives me confidence to face places or activities that might otherwise feel overwhelming.

I do not have major mental health conditions, I have just have occasional issues stress, anxiety, and depression. When I go out, I go out alone. I find myself in a better condition when I am alone. But I believe if you have a severe condition, it makes sense to be with someone when you are out.
