This is actually a question that ladies would be in the best position to answer because we men doesn't have anything to do with being pregnant. For the ladies, have you ever felt a little bit depressed when you were pregnant? What was the reason for your depression? Is it fear of losing your baby or fear of being a mother or any other thing generally?

Different people handle changes quite differently. There are some people that can't handle the changes that happen to their bodies during pregnancy and cry all through the pregnancy. All they need is emotional support and not scolding.

Yes, pregnancy can cause depression. Hormonal changes, physical stress, and emotional adjustments during and after pregnancy can lead to prenatal or postpartum depression. It's important to seek support, through therapy, medical care, or loved ones, if symptoms persist or interfere with daily life.

There is a condition called pregnancy induced depression. Some women suffer from this condition during their pregnancy and it ill go away without any medication after the child is born. Interestingly, for some women the condition continues even after many months of child birth, which is called postpartum depression.
