While browsing Facebook last night I came across an article stating that most Gen Xers are more worried about their financial state than dying. That's very concerning, and it got me thinking about it throughout the day. I know the cost of living is affecting every adult regardless of which generation they're from. I wonder why it's really hitting Gen X the most though. My generation, Millennials come in second place when it comes to this issue. I found an article from Investopedia that can help Gen X with this issue if you're interested in reading.

That finding actually fits with what a lot of people in that age group are dealing with.
Gen X is often in the “sandwich” phase, supporting both kids and aging parents, while also facing rising living costs and retirement uncertainty. So money stress becomes a constant, practical concern, while death feels more distant and abstract in comparison.
