For those who don't know, gaslighting it essentially making someone believe they are in the wrong even though they likely aren't. It usually results in the person being gaslit, believing it. To the point they question themselves. Have you ever been in a relationship where your partner gaslit you? Maybe they tried to make you believe you were at fault for something, or that you suggested something when you didn't.

It can sometimes get really bad, to the point that the victim believes what their partner is saying, even though they didn't do anything wrong. If you've ever been gaslit in a relationship, what happened?

I have been in that kind of relationship. That lady was a bee manipulative person. She would cheat serially and turn around to make me feel guilty for her cheating. I was the one hurt for her cheating lifestyle and I was still the one blamed for it and I always took the blame because I loved her. I just made up my mind one day and left the relationship.

No, I don’t believe I have, but I understand how damaging gaslighting can be. It makes people question their own memory and judgment. Recognizing it early, trusting your perception, and seeking outside perspective can be important steps in protecting your mental clarity and confidence.
