Having panic attacks in public?

Do you usually get panic attacks in public? I saw a man having a panic attack in the bus this morning when I was going to work. It created a very big scene because it brought a lot of attention to him.

How people who get panic attacks in public deal with all the pressure?

I haven't experienced any kind of panic attack, whether in public or private. But my wife has experienced panic attacks in public. Her symptoms resembled heart attack. Thankfully we were very close to hospital and I rushed her. Her conditions improved after Diazepam injection.
