Low energy, emotional distress, or fear of social interaction can make showing up feel overwhelming. Missing obligations may then create added guilt. What makes attendance difficult for you? What support helps you keep showing up?
 
Mental health can drain energy, focus, and emotional stability, so even simple routines like attending class or work start feeling heavy. Motivation drops not because of laziness, but because the mind is already overloaded, making it harder to start or keep up with daily demands.
