Many new mums struggle with exhaustion, mood changes, and the pressure of caring for a newborn. Having a strong support system, taking time to rest, and asking for help can make a big difference.

What do you think helps the most?

I think new mums can cope with postpartum depression by seeking support early, whether from family, friends, or a doctor. Rest, small routines, and talking openly about feelings really help. Professional therapy and sometimes medication can also make a big difference in recovery and daily stability.

I think the biggest step is asking for help early instead of trying to push through it alone. Talking to a doctor, partner, or someone you trust can really help. Getting as much rest as possible, accepting help with the baby, and taking small breaks for yourself can also make those early weeks feel a little more manageable.

I know some mothers whom have not fully recovered from their postpartum depression even after their baby is grown. Some people are lucky while others are not. This is why I have so much respect for women who gave birth because I know it's never easy.
