Early psychosis often appears as unusual thoughts, social withdrawal, or changes in perception, which can be mistaken for typical teen behavior. How can parents and teachers detect warning signs without causing fear or stigma? What early interventions improve outcomes?

I think parents and teachers can spot early signs by noticing persistent changes, like withdrawal, unusual ideas, or sudden changes in mood or perception, while approaching the teen with care and curiosity, not judgment. Early interventions like therapy, social support, and, if needed, medication can improve long-term outcomes, especially when combined with education about mental health to reduce fear or stigma.
