Some days it feels like every small problem lands at once, making it hard to think clearly or stay patient. How do you know you've reached emotional overload? What helps you reset before everything feels too overwhelming?

For me, emotional overload isn't usually one big moment. It's when small inconveniences start feeling much bigger than they are, my patience gets shorter, and I find it harder to focus or make simple decisions. That's usually my signal to pause instead of pushing through. Stepping away for a while, getting some fresh air, limiting distractions, and tackling one thing at a time helps me reset before the stress keeps building.

Emotional overload often shows up in small ways first. It might become harder to concentrate, patience runs out more quickly, or even simple decisions start to feel exhausting. Taking a step back, getting some rest, spending time outdoors, or doing something that doesn't demand constant attention can help clear your mind before the stress becomes too overwhelming.
