When one family member starts therapy, other relationships can change too. New boundaries, better communication, or different expectations may feel unfamiliar at first. How can families adjust when therapy changes the way someone responds to conflict, expresses emotions, or handles long-standing problems at home?

I think therapy can change family relationships by giving everyone a chance to say things they might normally avoid. Sometimes simply having a neutral person present makes difficult conversations easier. It may not solve every problem, but it can help family members understand each other better.
