If you're gay, bi sexual or anything under the LGBTQ+ umbrella, do you think it's easier today to come out of the closet then it was in the past? I feel more people are accepting of it today and most don't care what you do.

I still think there is stigma becusae there are people who are still against it, and I imagine those people have family who are gay. Probably secretly.

I think it will become less of a stigma and people will be more accepting of it in the future. What do you think?

In my country, there is still great apathy against people with unconventional sexual orientations. People are still hostile against people that publicly identify as gays and lesbians. In my city for instance, one would be lynched for publicly coming out as gay and stepping out into public places without a security.

I believe it's easier to come out as gay and lesbian in this current landscape but with the way things have been going lately in the US it's very hard for people to come out as trans. In the 90's it was much harder for people to come out as gay and lesbian, I think in due time eventually it will be much more accepting to come out as trans. I hope it gets better for my fellow trans siblings. I came out as trans 11 years ago, the political climate was different and certainly not as bad as it is now. It's sad really, we were making progress but then things went backwards.
