Should mental health be taught in schools as a subject?

Mental health has become an important concept to the extent that I am of the opinion that it should be added to the school curriculum. What do you think about such in terms of adding it as a subject for students to study?

I think mental health education should be taught in schools. It can help students understand emotions, reduce stigma, and learn coping skills early. It also encourages seeking help when needed. However, it should be age-appropriate, balanced, and taught alongside support systems, not as a standalone fix.

I have always said that I feel that mental health should be taught in schools. For so many years now, we have seen the stigma around mental health, which still all too often seems to surface, making people worry about speaking up when they know they are struggling with their mental health.

I feel that with more education surrounding mental health, the stigma behind mental health will become less of a bother, and more may speak up, realising it is not a bad thing to speak up.
