Should teachers be trained on mental health issues?

What is your view on teachers getting properly equipped on mental health? Do you feel that it is the right move to make as that will help these teachers understand the importance of mental health in relation to how they handle the students at school?

I think teachers should receive basic training on mental health issues. They spend a lot of time with students and may notice changes in behavior, mood, or social interaction before anyone else does. They don’t need to become mental health professionals, but knowing when a student may need help can be valuable.

Yes I believed that teachers need to learn about mental health as this will help them alot in handling student both physically and psychologically ,infact mental health training and lesson need to come on academy curriculum
