Noise dominates modern life, but silence can be powerful. Have you intentionally created silent moments during your day? How does silence change your emotional balance or mental clarity?

I remain in an isolated room for a long time. This has not changed my mental health. I usually interact with people sometimes. Having said that, I think that isolation and staying away from people can be helpful in a limited manner. Social isolation itself is a very bad thing.

Using silence as self-care can be very effective. Taking intentional breaks from noise, social media, or constant conversation allows you to recharge, reflect, and reduce stress. It helps you tune into your own needs and emotions without external pressures.

Many years ago, I used to practice a meditation method where you were supposed to be silent for a couple of days. When I tried it for the first time, the experience was liberating. I not only had better mental health but was even emotionally stable. Silence is the best self care.

I think creating moments of silence can be a simple but powerful form of self-care. Taking a few quiet minutes away from screens, noise, and constant input helps the mind slow down and reset. Silence can improve mental clarity because it gives you space to think without distractions.

Even short periods like sitting quietly, taking a walk without music, or just pausing between tasks can help reduce stress and bring emotional balance. It allows your thoughts to settle and makes it easier to notice how you’re actually feeling instead of constantly reacting to outside noise
