Exhaustion often turns into irritability. Have you ever realized your frustration was just burnout in disguise? What helped you catch it before it affected people around you?

I’ve realized that irritability often comes from burnout rather than real anger. I usually catch it when small things start bothering me too much. Taking short breaks, sleeping properly, and spending quiet time alone helps me reset before it affects others.

I’ve noticed that shift before. When I’m unusually irritable or snapping over small things, it’s often a sign I’m mentally drained, not actually angry at people. What helps me catch it is pausing and asking, “Am I tired or overloaded?” If the answer is yes, I step back, rest, and lower expectations. That reset usually prevents it from spilling over onto others.
