Sometimes responses feel stronger than the situation suggests. This may be linked to past experiences, stress levels, or emotional sensitivity. How do you reflect on strong emotional reactions afterward? What helps you regulate them in the moment?

That is emotional overreaction. It usually happens when the intensity of the response does not match the size of the triggering event. This isn't a sign of weakness, such reactions are usually natural, however, when they are intense, you can accumulate stress or unresolved trauma.
