Group situations feel hardest when there’s too much going on at once, like multiple people talking, fast topic changes, or pressure to respond quickly. It becomes tough to track everything and stay present, so I end up mentally draining faster than usual.
What helps is sitting somewhere quieter, giving myself permission to just listen instead of always speaking, and taking short breaks when possible. Even having a simple focus like summarizing what was said helps me stay grounded and involved without feeling overwhelmed.
