Factors like nutrition, exercise, and physical illness can influence mood, energy, and cognitive function. The mind and body are closely connected. What physical habits have improved your mental health? What challenges make maintaining them difficult?

Those who have mobility issues can suffer from depression and isolation. They can't get around as easy and can't be physically active, also your nutrition definitely affects your mental health too. If you have a diet of processed foods your mood can be unstable.

The body and mind are deeply interconnected biological systems. Physical activity and health directly alter brain chemistry. When you are physically active and when you are healthy, there will be a reduction on stress hormones like cortisol and increment in neurotransmitters like endorphins, serotonin, these neurotransmitters lift mood, reduce anxiety, and improve cognitive function.
