Do unread messages ever build up simply because responding feels mentally heavy? What helps you break that avoidance cycle?

I've experienced that too. When I'm mentally drained or juggling too many things, even simple tasks like replying to messages can feel like they require more energy than they should. It's usually less about the task itself and more about overall mental and emotional overload.

I think simple tasks can feel overwhelming when your mind is already tired or overloaded. Even replying to a message can feel like another responsibility when you’re dealing with work, worries, or too many things at once. Sometimes delaying the task only makes it feel bigger than it actually is.
