I remember, when I was in my teens, there were times when I didn't share my feelings and emotions with my parents, even though they were friendly and were always trying to help me. I think growing independence is normal, but now that I am adult I also thing becoming secretive suddenly can leave parents unsure what is happening. When do you think should parents respect privacy, and when should they become more involved?

I think teenagers sometimes stop sharing things because they want more privacy and independence. They may also fear judgment, punishment, or feeling misunderstood. As they get older, friendships and personal experiences become more important. However, parents can always try helping their kids by listening calmly, avoiding immediate criticism, and showing that difficult conversations are still safe.
