Worrying about what other people think can cause someone to rehearse conversations, avoid attention, or remain silent even when they have something to say. How does fear of judgment affect social behavior, and when does being careful about others' opinions begin interfering with confidence and relationships?

I think fear of judgment can make people act differently around others. They may stay quiet, avoid sharing opinions, or change how they dress and behave just to fit in. Even confident people can become more cautious when they feel every mistake or unusual choice might be noticed and criticized.

I think fear of judgment makes people more careful about how they behave around others. Someone might avoid speaking up in a group, change their opinion to fit in, or not do something they enjoy because they’re worried about looking strange. Over time, constantly thinking about other people’s reactions can make social situations exhausting.
