Pressure around education, career choices, marriage, finances, or family responsibilities can become emotionally difficult when expectations feel impossible to meet. How do strong family expectations affect anxiety, self-esteem, and relationships, and why can it be difficult to explain the pressure to relatives?

This is one of the reasons why I love my parents so much. I'm so proud of my mother because she never made any decisions for me based on what they want me to be in the future. They let me found my feet and decide what I want to become.

Family pressure is the cause of anxiety and depression most of the time, especially for young people. The parents want their children to become doctors or lawyers, so they carry too many responsibilities sometimes.
