Do emotional stress and productivity seem completely disconnected sometimes, even when you try your best? What strategies help you function on low-energy days?
 
Emotional heaviness drains mental energy, making it harder to focus, plan, and make decisions. The brain prioritizes processing feelings over tasks, so motivation drops. Even simple work feels slower because attention is divided between managing emotions and trying to stay productive.
 
When you are emotionally heavy, you lose interest. When you lose interest, you can no longer remain productive.
 
Sometimes emotional stress and productivity seem completely disconnected. You can be trying your hardest and still struggle to focus. On low-energy days, I think it helps to aim for small wins, prioritize essentials, and accept that not every day will be equally productive.
