Time off can sometimes lead to overthinking, worry about falling behind, or loss of structure. Instead of feeling rested, anxiety may increase. How do breaks affect your mental state? What helps you actually rest during time off?

School or work breaks can increase anxiety because routines disappear and there's more time to think about unfinished tasks or future responsibilities. Without daily structure, uncertainty and anticipation can grow, making the break feel less relaxing than expected.
